Toon Boom Harmony - "Corgi Brush"
In the Spring of 2019, I was asked by Toon Boom to help create a demo video for the then-new Harmony 17. I was provided a sample design of a girl and a dog, and was asked to re-design them in my own style and animate them in a looping run-cycle.
For the cleanup, I wanted to make a custom brush. I wanted something that felt chunky with a bit of tooth, lots of thick and thin, but that applied smoothly like a grease pencil for consistency. After lots of trial and error, I came up with what I call the "Corgi Brush".
The Corgi Brush is a texture vector-based brush, so make sure you are running at least Harmony 15. A tablet is highly recommended. Install instructions are included in the zip archive. The Corgi Brush is being offered for free, but donations are welcome!
Please note that Harmony Essentials does not support vector texture brushes or bitmap layers, so please make sure you are running Advanced or Premium.
Have fun!
**Psst! You can also import this brush into Storyboard Pro 6 and up!**
